I can't help but wonder if there isn't some kind of connection. George Rabon Perry's family was in Panola County, Mississippi near Sardis on a plantation called Peach Creek. I believe all of them were in Mississippi at one time.
Yes I'd love to be able to contact the Rabon gentleman you mentioned. We're about the same age - so watch it (smile).
I have been looking for this family since the early 1960s. I found his sister, Lucy who married a Webb while they were in Mississippi. He had other brothers and sisters who went back to some part of Texas that I don't know about.
