To set up an account, you go to: https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/Login.asp

They take most major credit cards. I live in the U.S. and they convert the fee to U.S. dollars, it usually runs around $12 for a certificate.

You get to a screen where you click the button that says whether you are ordering a Birth, Marriage, Death certificate for events registered in England/Wales or overseas. You would be ordering a Marriage Certificate registered in England/Wales.

It will ask "Is the General Register Office Index known?." Click yes. Enter the year the event was registered: for William Frances Rabone and Emma Bennett it would have been registered in 1873.

The system will then confirm your address for sending the certificate to and take you to a screen where you enter the names of the parties being married:
Man's surname: RABONE
Man's forenames: William Francis
Woman's surname at marriage: BENNETT
Woman's forenames: Emma

Below this area, it will ask for the Quarter. William & Emma were registered in the Apr-Jun quarter. Other questions will be
District Name: Birmingham
Volume number: 6d
Page number: 121

Should you want to obtain the same info for Joseph Green and Dinah Rawbone, their marriage was registered in 1851 (Quarter Jan-Feb-Mar) and the General Register Office index info is:
District Name: Birmingham
Volume number: 16
Page number: 294

Hope this helps.
