I am searching for information on Sherrod Raborn. He was born in Amite, MS ab 1811 and died in 1860 in Bienville Parish, LA. He married Sarah Rippie. She was born in 1809 in VA. Some of his brothers were Henry and Sampson. They moved to Sparta, LA - Bienville Parish from Amite, MS.

Their children were Permilia who married William G. Durbin, Letha Ann who married Thomas R.S. Durbin, Angelina who married Forest Whitlow, Jesse and Columbus.

I would like to know who Sherrod's parents were as I am a great, great granddaughter.
