There was a John B. Raburn who was an early (by 1830) settler of Walker Co., AL. Census records indicate he was b. abt 1788 in Georgia. He had a son Wiley Raburn b. abt 1818 also of Walker Co.
A Caroline Raburn acquired land in Walker Co. AL, Deed Book 1 Patent Dated 9/20/1839.
Do you know if there is a connection to your John Berry Raburn?
