Richardson C. Raburn/Raborn/Rayburn was my 3g-grandfather. I, too, am searching for his parents, etc. I'd never considered that he'd changed his name. My line is as follows:
1) Richardson C. Raburn + Amanda Barnett
2) John Mark Rayburn + Sarah Jane Bookout
3) Arthur Eli Rayburn + Jessie Emily Pickens
4) Ruby Jo Rayburn + Virgil Lee George Parker (my maternal grandparents)
