Janet,
You have no idea how good it is to hear information about the Raddons. Somehow I did find that Frederick, Catherine's father was born in 1817 and Sarah, his wife (whose last name is missing) seems to have been born in 1820. So, yes, this does add up. Keep in mind that I have absolutely nothing except that information, so any research that you might have would be of great interest.
