In the past 11 years, I have found out oodles of information about Littleberry Rainey of Lincoln County, Georgia and surrounding counties. I can narrow down his death in Brooks County to the early 1860's due to his son William's birth in 1858 and the sale of the farm at at Sheriff's sale in the early 1860's by his widow, Nancy. Littleberry married Nancy Carrington on 2 Dec 1835 in Lincoln County, Georgia. Now I am ready to move backwards but cannot seem to narrow down his parentage I have pretty much ruled out Matthew, John and William Rainey for being the father, but cannot find much information on Isham Rainey during the time period I need.
