My grandmother name is Mattie Rakestraw, according to Federal Census of 1870, her family lived in the town of Jefferson City, Jackson County, Georgia. Her father's name was McCoy Rakestraw and her mother's name was Many. She had two brothers Grant and Guy and one sister. I would like to hear from anyone who know's of the brothers and sisters.
I believe the children have change there first names.
