I was born in Snodland in 1953. I have a book called "A little history of Snodland" which includes details of the 1891 census. The census shows a William Randell (born Fisherton) living at 46 May Street. His age is 66, so he does not fit the bill for a child, but may be a brother. Occupation is shown as "Chemical labourer at Mill". It shows no wife, but four people in the home.
