Hi Susan

Here is what I think I know:>) about the HUGGINS.

John HUGGINS b 1688 Suffield CT m Keziah WILLIAMS. I know of only two sons Joseph b 1736 and John b 1728

Joseph b 1736ish in Springfield MA m 1756 Sarah FOX and d 1800 in Sheffield. Their children:

Anne b 1757
Martha b 1760
Joseph b 1762
Zedidiah b 1765
Sarah b 1769 m Nathan RANSFORD

I would suspect that your Abraham connects somehow.

And yes, I THINK the families were in the New Marlborough as it was called area first. The Johnson and other name are not familiar to me at all in the RANSFORD line. I have a little book on the history of New Marlborough. I checked for HUGGINS, but nothing. It does say that Solomon RANSFORD in 1744 ( Nathan RANSFORDis mentioned in 1741) from Canterbury along with some other families.
