I forgot to mention to you that Thomas Jackson Rape was married twice.. first to Rachel Fugate. I don't have a record of the marriage but I received the maiden name from a lady who was a granddaughter of Rachel Fugate Rape. This ladies mother was Rachel Melvina Rape born 1 March 1877 in Durham, Walker County, GA. She married William W. Sisemore and they had 14 children. Children of Thos. Jackson Rape and Rachel were Mary E. Rape, who married John Lay and had at least 10 children; William Henry Rape who married Egar Gayton and had 4 children..including Arthur L., Hattie, Rommely, and Lola; Cicero Rape born about 1869, married and lived in Texas then in Cotton County, OK and had 5 children that I know of, they were Viola, Willie May, Oliver, Gus A., and Dollie I. , John L. Rape born 1871 married Alma Key and had Juril Thomas, Julius, and Joe Randolph; Houston married a woman named Amanda and had Pluma; and the youngest child was Rachel Melvina who I mentioned above. Thomas Jackson Rape married second to Semantha Paralee Durham who, if I remember the story correctly, had been married previously but deserted by her husband. Thomas Jackson and Semantha had five children: Dora Isbell, James Parks, Archie Vadill C. Rape, Charlsie Mae, and Thomas Jefferson Rape. I was very interested in all these people as they are my close cousins...being that Thomas Jackson Rape was an older brother of my great grandfather, John Augustus Rape, who after being freed from prisoner of war status from the yankees left GA and moved to Franklin County, Arkansas then later into Indian Territory, where my grandfather, William Parks Rape married and my father William Augustus Rape was born in 1903...about 3 1/2 years before Oklahoma statehood, now part of ONE NATION UNDER GOD.
