Thanks for the info on lewis Rape,Father of lafayette Rape.Lewis was born 1786 in Va.Died 1854,buried in Darke,Co Ohio.He married Maria M Wykoff,form N.J.in1835 in Darke CO,Oh. Their children were Layaette and Charlotte.Maria married my ggrand father Jacob Bender in 1855,in Darke,Co.My grand father was David Bender,the son of Jacob and Mary Reed Bender.My problem is finding what happened to them and where they are bruied.
