I'm looking for information on Albert H. Raver born 1870 in Lake Co., IN. His parents were John and Anna Roeber, found in the 1870 census in Lake Co., IN - immigrated from Prussia with children William, born 1862 and Charles born 1864. In 1880 census the family is in Thornton, Cook Co., IL - John Roever is with wife Maria; children: William, Charles, Albert, Annie, John, and Louis. The last 3 children were born in Illinois. There was another child born later, Emma, who married Leonard Staat. Albert married Elizabeth Krueger, who was born in Dolton, Cook Co., IL. Albert and Lizzie moved to Hammond, IN.
As you can see, the surname has at least these variations (RAVER, ROEVER, ROEBER) and I'm sure there are more. But, I would appreciate any help.
