Nancy: I would be interested in any info. concerning the ancestors of James and Catherine. I am of course hoping to confirm that they are the parents of my William Dobbs, father of Mary Jane Dobbs, mother of Etta May Hogg. Info from my grandmother, Etta May, concerning her mother's siblings Quincy and Laura led me to William and Caroline Dobbs, and then to James and Catherine. Any facts about any members of this family might yield clues. Some internet info leads from James to his father Alexander, to Willaim, to Chesley Dobbs. Another suggested that Chesley might be the son of Edward Brice Dobbs. I am hoping to find out. The Raibourne/Rayburn side interests me, but I have found little on them. So far I have Catherine's father as Thomas;back thru Sylvanus. Thanks so much--Sharon
