Troy,

This may be a long shot but I have a Forrest in my tree. He is Ray Forrest Rabern born 08/08/1897 in Peru, Nemaha Co., Nebraska. He married Erma Kenyon 12/27/1927 in Pierre, Hughs Co., South Dakota. They went west from there. I believe that Erma was a school teacher and she decided that Forrest spelled his name wrong so she had it changed to Rayburn. I have very little other information on Forrest and Erma or their family. But I have information on the rest of the family if this is a connection.
