Hi, My name is Dianna, My mother was Evelyn Lavern Rabourn, her father was Robert Hamilton RabournII and I know he had a sister named Della May and a brother James.
His parents where Robert Hamilton Rabourn born in GRAND CITY MO 25 Jul 1895 and died 05 Sep 1923in PAWHUSKA OK and he was married to Elsie Marie Lounsbury. I have his parents as being David Alvin Rabourn born 27 Feb 1869 and Marteen Shastabutte Deardorff born 30 Aug 1872 (Im told she was born on a wagon train in the shastabutte Mts)09 May 1957 and died 09 May 1957 Wynona OK.
Davids parents are listed as Jesse L Rabourn died 1837 married too Margarate Ann Bear. Jesses father was Solomon Rabourn born 15 Mar 1806 in Montgomery, KY and died 18880 in Pettis MO. He was the son of Rafe(1760 VA) whos father was William Robert born 1649 in Henrico, VA.
Does anyone else have information on this line? aperently the spelling changed from Raiborne to Rayborn to Rabourn
I had been told while growing up that Margarate Ann was a cherokee Indian but Im more inclined to believe she was German..any information would be wonderfull..if you dont have any but want to just say hi feel free to send me an email also...ty
