I am looking for information of my fathers family. All I have is his fathers name(Western Rector born May 18, 1888, died January 1, 1929) was married to Bertha Holmes Whitaker). Western and Bertha had 5 children, Edward A. Rector (my father), Chester P. Rector, Donald Rector, Mary Rector Friend and Flavia Rector Butcher.
Western's father was Alford Allen Rector (born May 26, 1864 died February 13, 1897) was married to Mary Anna Stewart. Alford was born in Clinton county, Indiana, not sure about Western, but he was probably born in Clinton county or maybe Boone county, Indiana. Alford and Mary Anna had 7 children, Western, Sarah Almyra Rector LaGarde, Mary Jane Rector Goodnight, Mable May Rector VanMeter, Clem Rector (never married) and Alford Everett. If anyone knows anything about this line of Rectors I would apprecitate any info that you can give me.
