About the markers for the immigrant John Jacob and Wife Rector- these are memorial markers that were put there by Tommie Brittain of Texas- We don't know for sure where they are buried(German Town?). The town name was always Rectortown, originally it was to be called "Maidstone" but people were already calling it Rectortown. It is named for John Rector born 1711 the original founder, I have a paper I found at the library on Rectortown, would be glad to pass along.
