I'm also looking for the Rector family of Edwards Co IL. My grandmother Mary Marie Rector Torrence was d/o John and Delilah McVeigh Rector. John was born July 1827 in KY died between 1900 and 1910 in Albion, Edwards Co IL. Will be glad to share info. If there is a connection, a cousin of mine who lives in Albion, may help you out.
