willam j rector(Ark) --> Jefferson Lee Rector(Ark) --> Thomas J Rector(Waco tx) --> Roger Rector(waco, hou tx)--> Lee Rector (IN).
William Joseph Rector brought the name into Arkansas I believe around 1850 approx. He served in CSA with 7th Arkansas and 6th Arkansas and his regiment played major roles in Shiloh and other wilderness campaigns.
Anyone out there have any pictures of William J Rector or a full pic of shavers 7th Arkansas infantry? or can you direct me to where you know many arkansas civil war pictures may be found.
