Faquire county and the Mosby historical society web site lists possible formation of Mosby's cavalry unit within the Clinton Caleb Rector house near Rectortown VA. Atock crossroads.
Can someone tell me the lineage of Clinton Caleb Rector? Does he trace to Hans immigrant? I believe the home was built of stone around 1810 - 1830 which would possibly make him a third generation , maybe fourth?
Mosby's unit roster of officers lists 2 or 3 Rectors.
But I am interested to know what the association of Caleb Rector is to Mosby if any....and who Caleb's parents are?
