John Martin Rector Dies in Berea
John Martin Rector , 93, passed away February 4 at the Bera Hospital. He was born in Rockcastle County, the son of of the late Isaac and Sarah Clark Rector and was a resident of Brodhead. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Free Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Janie Peters of Metamora, Ind., Mrs. Susie Bowman of Hamilton, Ohio, Mrs. Ethyl Roger of Berea, Mrs. Elizabeth Corbett of Louisville, Mrs. Beulah Sargent of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Ella Saylor and Mrs. Martha Lunsford, both of Brodhead; one son, Joe M. Rector of Fountain City, Ind ; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Keene of Paint Lick, Mrs. Chrisie Rhodes of Kirksville, and Mrs. Ella Sparks of Berea; two brothers, Grissie Rector and McKinley Rector, both of Berea, 44 grandchildren, 50 great grabdchildren, and 6 great- grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thuesday, February 6 at the Hickrrove Church by Bro. Virigil Brock and Charles Shivel. Burial was in tne Saylor Cemetery.
Warson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
