Obituary
JOSEPH RECTOR
Joseph M. Rector, 84, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, died Tuesday, April 5, at his residence. He was born In Rockcastle County the son of Johnny Martin and Arminia Smith Rector. He was a retired machinest with Avoc Industries in Richmond, Indiana and a member of the Pentecostal Holiness at Hickory Grove in Rockcastle.
Survivors are: three sons, Holman Rector of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Carl Rector of Richmond, Indiana and Paul Rector of Hagerstown, Indiana; five sisters, Ella Saylor and Martha Lunsford, both of Broadhead, Beulah Sargent of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ethel Rogers of Berea and Elizabeth Corbett of Louisville and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first and second wives, Elizabeth Stokes Rector and Hattie Burdette Rector and one son, Donnie Rector.
Services will be Thursday, April 17, 1997 at 1:00 p.m. at Hickory Grove Holiness Church on Brindle Ridge with Rev, Tim Rector officiating. Burial will follow in the Salyor Cemetery.
Lakes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbears will be friends of the family.
