Yes, and that is my dilema! I can't verify whether my list or your list is correct. Maybe Landy, Betty/Betsy, Anna, Isaac, Abraham were born later and never listed. Maybe Thornton and Landy were cousins. Who knows? My names were taken from my Aunt Elinor Rector's notes as told to her by her father, Willis Sheridan Rector in 1946. It starts with Jacob Rector "came from Germany settled in North Carolina," then Peter Rector "he came to K.Y. to Wayne Co, Ind, not much English born in Germany." Then it lists Thornton, Landy, Betty, Anna, Isaac, Abriham. Isaac and Abriham died as bachelors. It lists all of Thorntons children and then his son Jacob's 15 children.
