I am still trying to locate anyone else who is researching the Rector family in the Somerset County area of PA. I have documented my line back to my maternal GGG-grandparents. Tilman Rector married Margaret Hauger, they had at least three children, their son John was my GG-grandfather, he married Eliza Pritz (I have various spellings on her name). John and Eliza had six children, Anna Elizabeth was the youngest, she is my G-grandmother.
I am trying to find documentation as to the parents of Tilman. I believe he or his father probably came to PA from VA.
If anyone has anything that might help it would be greatly appreciated.
