I am looking for Ludwell Giles Rector's parents. He was born in Tennessee and married Elizabeth "Bettie" Elrod of Bowling Green, Warren County, KY. and married around 1843 in Bowling Green, Ky. They had these children: Mary Elizabeth, Amanda "Mandy", Giles Washington and Eliza, and Jacob David. The family moved to Barton County, Missouri by 1860 Newton Twp and then on to Barton Twp. by 1900. On the 1870 census Barton County, Mo son Giles married to Amanda Morris born in Ky. Does anyone know who Ludwell's parents were? According to the 1870 census he and Elizabeth would have been born abt. 1821, he in Tennessee and she in Ky. I don't have Elizabeth's parents name either.
