Rectors of Roane Co., TN (and perhaps McNairy Co., TN)

Hello. The Rector family history is new to me.

For years I have been trying to locate information on the wife of Philip PRYOR of NC who came with his parents to Roane Co., TN circa 1807. By 1816 (or 1810-1812) he was married and several researchers have her listed as a "Miss REETER" without providing a source for the name. When I recently found a 1816 record on Philip in Roane Co., there were two RECTOR names on the list - Maximillan and Landon. It then hit me that the surname REETER could be RECTOR? The wife was born circa 1790 to 1800 and died between 1840 and 1850 censuses. Mid 1830s the family relocated to McNairy Co., TN where both Philip and his wife died. Later census data on two of their children had the mother as born in NC.

I did not find a marriage for Philip Pryor in Roane Co. and think they might have married in Marion Co. which was created from Roane Co. or in Morgan Co. (both lost their early marriage records).

Could anyone help? Anyone missing a daughter who might have married Philip Pryor?

The names of their children were: Alfred (possible son), Jacob N., William Jackson, Samuel C., Lemuel M., Nancy L., Elizabeth, Philip, Mary, Benjamin, and George Washington.

Thanks!
