More than likely the two Johns on the Co roster are the same person.

John L. Sr. of Searcy Co AR's father has not been documented that I know of.

Also, as far as I know, this is the first document that traces this branch beyond 1840 Searcy Co.

The apparent 45 year wait is curious and could indicate he was an heir to an earlier John.
