If anyone has further information on any of these individuals, please contact me. Also, I have not been able to place my Redmans with any of the other Redmans in Onondaga Co., NY. If anyone can tell me how mine connect, I would greatly appreciate it.
Here's what I know about my Redman family-
John Redman- b abt 1732-1762 (based on son's birth)
John Redman II- b 1782 d 1829 bur West Clarkson Cem., Monroe Co., NY He married Polly Soule, descendant of the Mayflower Soule. She is also buried in West Clarkson Cem. This family moved from Onondaga Co., NY to Monroe Co., NY. Polly and her husband along with other members of the Soule family sold land in Camillus, Onondaga Co., NY
The children of John Redman II and Polly I know of from his will and other records are:
1. Perry b 1811 in Onondaga Co, m Julia Ann and was in Monroe Co in 1855 and had ch: Manerva, Isabel, Henry, Viola
2. Michael b 1814 d 1835 bur West Clarkson Cem
3. Hiram b 1815 d 1879 bur West Clarkson Cem, m Agnes. She is bur in West Clarkson Cem.
4. Abram
5. Ann Redman m Unk Childs (possibly Samuel Childs)
6. Susan Redman m Unk Randolph
7. Julian
8. David
The Hiram Redman m Agnes above is my direct line. The inscription on Hiram's headstone says he is son of John II. Hiram and Agnes had the following children:
1. Samie b 1838
2. James Henry b 1840 d 1912 bur West Clarkson Cem m 1st Melissa Lords- she is buried West Clarkson cem and m 2nd Esther Fosmire
3. Wallace b 1847 d 1907 bur West Clarkson cem
4. William H b 1848 d aft 1880 m unknown and had ch Lucy
5. Mary Ann b 1851 d 1871 bur West Clarkson Cem
6. Lida b 1858
The James Henry m Melissa Lords above is my direct line- The inscription on James' headstone says he is son of Hiram. James and Melissa had children:
1. Elmer H
2. Lena Louisa
