Also do you have a source for the birth date of John Polk REDMAN ? I have seen that he was born on 04 Jan 1794 in Tennessee BUT Tennessee did not become a state until 1796/06/01 when President George WASHINGTON signed the bill admitting Tennessee to the Union as the 16th state.
