Do any of you Redman researches know anything about William Redman, born about 1798--according to Taylor and Williams Family File--in Grainger County, Tennessee--brother of John Polk Redman? Could he possibly be William Manning Redman of Monroe County, Mississippi who was born about 1790 in South Carolina--this from census records that may or may not be correct? I have searched for William for 25 years and a cousin before me searched another 25. We have not learned even one additional tidbit. Why are these people so hard to find? William died 15 July 1858 in Monroe County. His known children were Ada Ann, Oliver Manning, and Mary H. Thank you.
