Phil,
I have a little bit of information in my notes that don't quite jive with your dates but they are too coincidental for there not to be a connection. You may have more information than I do and yours may be correct and mine wrong. Here goes:
My grandmother was Vera Victoria Simmons. Her mother was Zora Kelly Redmon whose father was Jobe(Job) Redmon. Zora had a brother named Bunion or Bunyan. My grandmother did not give us any information about Bunion. She did tell us about another brother named John(Bub) who was born in 1884 and married to Missouri Tooley. Their children were: Roy, Mary Alice, Russ, Max, Louise, Anna Irene, Lloyd and another unnamed boy. If any of this seems like a connection to you, email me and we can compare notes. I have other brothers and sisters listed. I also have other information about Bunion that I received online. I'm trying to tie it all in but I don't know how it works together. The family lived in southern Alabama and northern Florida.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Karen
