Hi Byron :) > with hard copy on the pages that you found this information on. I do not have a hard copy. The info I gave you came from my notes of a few years ago that I made while in the library. I already gave you the source (1974/01 "Kentucky Ancestors"). You should be able to find this info at a main reference library or a genealogy library near you. >> I think he may be connected to an Ignatious REDMAN who I am very interested in > And I will get started with researching Ignatius, I do not know how Ignatious is related at all !! There was an 1805 deed given by Ignatious REDMAN to the George REDMAN (in my last message) & this deed was supposed to have mentioned some REDMANs of TN,Claiborne-Co. I have not seen this deed but the reference was VA,Lee-Co Deed Book #2 p230. > it sounds like he could have come from England or Ireland. As far as I know so far, Ignatious is NOT an immigrant from the United-Kingdom. Here is what I do know about Ignatious REDMAN ... His nickname was Nace. He was on some tax lists in Virginia. He was married to Hetty CHADWELL & their children are probably: Nancy REDMAN m=26 May 1804 VA,Patrick-Co to William=Billy HALE, Sr. John REDMAN m=02 Feb 1818 VA,Patrick-Co to Catherine BROWN. > I have been researching the Redmond family in Ireland I have some info on REDMONDs from Wexford-Co in Ireland. Is that the same area where you are looking ? Thanks for sharing info :) NICOLE REDMOND (& all variant surnames) DNA Project http://www.familytreedna.com//public/redmond/ Notify Administrator about this message?
