I am just about certain that the Matthew Redmond that moved to Brooklyn and had two sons was my grandfather. He remarried after his wife died and had several children including my father. My father had two stepbrothers, Alex and John and several sisters and a brother (Constance, Madeline & Ronald). My great grandfather (Matthews father) was Daniel Redmond who emmigrated from Ireland and I have not traced back to Ireland at this point. Any additional info you can provide would be welcome.
