Hi Christopher, while I don't have any info on the Flavin family, I do have some on the Redmonds. William Archer Redmond (b.1825, d.1880) was father to John Edward Redmond and William Hoey Kearney Redmond. Following in the family tradition they were both esteemed members of Parliament. William was killed in WWII and is buried in Locre, France. He and his wife Eleanor Dalton Redmond had no surviving children. In searching I've found Eleanor described as sister, cousin and half-sister to Joanna Dalton, first wife of John E. Redmond. I have further information if you would like more or sources if you would like to look further. Helen
