JESSIE REDMOND JR.
BETHEL -- Jessie Redmond Jr., 76, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003 at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Holly Hill Freewill Baptist Church, Belvoir with Rev. Walter Adkins officiating. He was a member of Zion Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
A wake will be held from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Belvoir. Burial will follow in Zion Chapel Church Cemetery in Belvoir.
Redmond is survived by his wife, Maebell Redmond of the home; two daughters, Edna Smith Dancy of Greenville and Mary Ann Lee of the home; four brothers, Willie Roberson of Conetoe, Norman Roberson of Belvoir, James Earl Roberson of Washington, D.C. and Larry Roberson of Georgia; seven sisters, Virgie Jones of Greenville, Bobbie Ann Taylor of Greenville, Margie Roberson of Belvoir, Rosetta Roberson of Greenville, Laura Ann Roberson of Tarboro, Emma Andrews of Conetoe and Minnie Jenkins of Maryland; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Arrangements by Hemby-Willoughby Mortuary, Tarboro.
