I am looking for Dave who posted the following query on 'All Things Cherokee' or anyone with information on George Washington Redman/Redmond.

This sounds just like my grandfather who married Zollie Stapleton and later went by George Washington Gibson. Gibson was his step-father's name. George was born in Madison Co, Arkansas in 1888 and later moved to Oklahoma where he died. George's parents did not marry but he was given his father's name of Redmond/Redman. I have been looking for George's father for years. George’s mother was Nancy Paralee (Pearl) Hill. Any help is appreciated. Please email me directly. Thanks in advance. SLKennedy@aol.com
