Can't find William Manning Redman/Redmond

William was my great-great grandfather. According to the 1850 census, he was born in South Carolina about 1790. Of course, this could be an error. A daughter, Ada Ann, was born in Tennessee. She married Nathan Fowlkes in Monroe County, Mississippi in 1838. Nathan's first wife might have been her sister. William had two children born in Monroe County--Oliver Manning who married Martha Templeton in 1855 and Mary (or Mahulda) who married Joseph Bridges in 1855. After coming to Mississippi about 1825, William spent the rest of his life there. His wife was Mary, but don't know if she was the mother of his children. William died in 1858. Can some of you Redman researchers place him with a family? I don't know the names of his parents or siblings. Thank you!
