My father and grandfather are both Richard F. Rhoad. My grandfather is in the process of tracking our family history. Apparently his gr-gr-gr-gr-grandmother married a Rhoad was of German decent but who lived in England and was a protestant. Because his grandmother was an Irish Catholic both of their families disowned them. Therefore, we do not know much about the Rhoad side.
