My 4Xgrgrandfather, George Rhodes, born in the early 1700's
reportedly came to America in 1745 from England. Family records have him listed as General George Rhodes. I've
had no luck with finding him as just plain George never
mind as General George. However, recently searching through
records on Orange County, NC, I found a reference to a
General George Rhodes of Jones. Can anyone tell me about
this George or what and where is the "Jones" they referenced?? ANY HELP will be so much appreciated. If
