Hello,
My Harriett was born June 13, 1821. I am not certain where, but suspect Darke Co. OH or Preble, with an outside chance of Greens Fork, Wayne or Randolph Co. IN.
She married in Wayne Co. IN, on the 23 August, 1846 Thomas W. Cook. They lived a good part of their lives in Huntsville or Anderson, Madison Co. IN [these counties are adjacent to one another].
Harriett died Feb 22, 1872 and she is buried in Huntsville Cemetery, Fall Creek Twp., Madison Co. IN.
I suspect her father was named Samuel [going by prevailing naming patterns] and having come across a Samuel who was born 22 January 1787 in VT, who came to Wayne Co. IN.
Would love to find Harriett's parents.
PS: Harriett's mother-in-law was Lucy Fields Tilson. Lucy's nephew Luther [whose father was Leonard] married a Catherine Rhodes 21 Dec 1849 in Preble Co. I know I am wildly guessing but I figure Catherine (who was born 30 March 1827 in Darke Co. OH) may well have been a sister to Harriett...
