All: I have found in the returns of the Penn. Militia:
In the War of 1812. Captain Jonathon Rhoades Rifle Company
128th. Regiment, First Brigade, 12th. Division, Penn. Militia. Raised in Bedford County, Pennsylvania.
In this Company was also a private George Hess, who maybe my ancesotr. Still seeking more information on this Hess person.
Thought the information would help someone.
