On behalf of the local museum, I am researching the pioneer family or families above. One family is that of William and Missouri Lavender Rhoades who live in our river valley approx. 1875--1890 (or longer). Both parents born in Stoddard, Missouri (1842/1844). Lived for a while in Texas before moving here. Nine children (names available). At some point move to Oregon, which is where the parents die (1910 and 1924). Another family is J. W and Lue Rhoades (he born 1858 Maryland and she 1861 Illinois). Another family is Charles and Maude (born 1872 and 1875) and child Lottie. Finally a John Rhoades born 1860 in Indiana and a single miner here in 1880. Any info would be appreciated.
