I am looking to find descendants of one of the numerous men named Levi Rhoades. According to the SSDI, There was a Levi Rhoades, born August 17, 1910 & died June 1980 Last living in Cleveland.
I have a Levi Elva Rhoades in the 1930 census, Perry twp, Lake Co, Oh, age 19, (Born about 1910) in the home of his parents, Ira Rhoades & Catherine Friend/Rhoades. So The age is about right to match the SSDI.
Levi Elva Rhoades's sister Doris Violet Rhoades obituary in Lake County, says that she has a brother Levi, living in Cleveland, OH. Which matches the SSDI.
My goal is to locate more information on my Mother & Grandfather's Rhoades Family. My Grandfather John Carey Rhoades, is a brother to Levi Elva Rhoades's father, Ira D. Rhoades. I also see seeveral refferances to other of my Rhoades's known to have been in Cleveland. I see a number of Rhoades names in the phone book. If you are able to lend a hand, please do.
