Paul, I was reading the names of Sanford and Eliza Rhoads children that you have listed and just realized the George W. mentioned, born 1871 (correct birth date 6-26-1870) died 5-2-1887. The George Rhoads that lived in Rosenale, MO and supplied information about the family in 1956 was my father George R. Rhoads, (born 10-29-1905 and died 8-31-2001)
I remember Daddy saying that there was a man that would call every now and then and would ask for info on the Rhoads family. And I remember Daddy telling the man that his father died (Edna Taylor (Dick) Rhoads) and that his source for information was gone.
I can't seem to find the "Rhoades and Allied Families-Descendants of David and Celia (Copple) Rhoades". Amazon.com did have it but is now unavailable. If you know of another place to purchase this book please let me know.
