Barbary Rhodes was the first wife of my gg grandfather, James M. Wood. In the 1860 census, they are in Richland Twp, Miami Co, IN along with Hannah. They moved to Sheridan Twp, Clare Co, MI where Barbary d. March 2, 1869 ae 32y 1m; her parents are listed as Jacob Rods and Elanor Rods. The death was recorded in Midland Co, MI (pg. 75, no. 18). She was buried at Wood Cemetery, Sheridan Twp.
Hannah Rhodes married John Finley at Miami Co, IN Aug 9, 1855, but she appears as Hannah Rhodes in the 1860 census. In 1870, she is with James and kids in Sheridan Twp as Hannah Friedly. Hannah Finley d. April 4, 1879 ae 69y at Greenwood Twp, Clare Co, MI (Clare Co Deaths pg. 140, no. --).
