I am hoping someone is a descendant of these two people. This Miles was listed as 27 on the census; his wife Hannh as 26. They had two children, Jane, age 2; Harriet, 9 mos. All born Indiana.
My ancestor Miles Rhodes and his wife Isabella also lived in Howard Co. at that time. My Miles was about 29 at that time. I have thought these two men might possibly be cousins. His father Miles went to Indiana about 1830 from Pasquotank Co., NC.
