Hi, I am a descendant of James Starr Rhodes who married Eliza Ann Frances Adams. Do you have additional information on this family? I am trying to confirm what I have and add to it. I am particularly interested in confirming that Ebenezer Rhodes was born in Holland and who his parents were (I have that they were German). I am also interested in confirmation of my information on Mary (Hargis) Starr who was a widow when Ebenezer Rhodes married her. Many have her as daughter of Moses Starr, but this does not fit my information. I believe she is being confused with a daughter Mary Starr of Moses Starr whose son was John Starr. I do not have confirmation on her first husband. This is from SOLDIERS OF THE REVOLUTION AND THE WAR OF 1812 BURIED IN McLEAN COUNTY, ILLINOIS Items in brackets [ ] are my additions. Rhodes, Rev. Ebenezer, (New Light Baptist) b. Holland, May 21, 1780. Private, Capt. Philip Riser's Company, Ohio Militia, Aug. 12, 1813 to Sept. 21, 1813.
