From reading the many entries on this family I see that others are confused as well. I am researching CORNELIA Rhodes born abt 1855 and married William Brown in Calhoun Co., Al. Her desc later moved to Mississippi.
She is listed on the 1870 Calhoun Al Census with Jalus and Joanna Rhodes (Joanna being the 2nd wife). No researcher I have found ever mentions Cornelia. In 1860, I believe Cornelia is listed as Nancy C. (abt same yr of birth) and she is listed between Daniel and C.C.(Clara) as she is on the 1870 census. In 1860 the head of household is J.M. Rhodes and Emily J. is wife. In 1850 Jabez and Emily are in Fayette Co., Ga with no children.
