From:"History and Comprehensive Description of Loudoun County, Virginia" By James William Head
Court Orders and Reimbursements.Needy families of the Revolutionary soldiers of Loudoun were supplied with the necessaries of life as per the following orders:
"1778, Nov. 15th: George Emrey to furnish the child of Jacob Rhodes, said Jacob being in the Continental army. William Douglass to furnish Mary Rhodes, her husband being in the army." page 135-136
